I use the Nano Colombo CO2 for my Edge for a day. But now tiny little bubbles form on the top of my thank under the glass. Is that a problem, somebody familiar with that? please react to marcelkip@kpnmail.nl.

Hi Jackson, there are many suitable fish for the edge but a lot depends on whether you are intending to add a heater and the ambient temperature of your room. Any small fish that don't grow to more than 6-7cm in length should do fine. Whether you choose coldwater, temperate or tropical species will depend on temperature as above. Talk to a specialist in your local fish store, they will be able to give you more guided advice.

@ Carmen - your tank is probably still suffering new tank syndrome. That's a lot of fish for the 23 litre EDGE, my guess is you have bacterial blooms. Make sure you test your ammonia and nitrite levels. Perform partial (20%) water changes every few days, feed very sparingly (every other day is great for the moment, limit the food to 1 medium flake per fish) and add nutrafin cycle regularly to boost bacterial colonies. You can use Nutrafin Bio Clear to help clear the water - this will not solve your ammonia or nitrite issues though so you still need to monitor those. Good luck!

Is it just me or does anyone else agree that it would be so much better if the top of the Edge canopy either hinged or had a trap door for feeding? I find I need two hands to lift off and replace each time and wonder how someone perhaps with a broken arm or other problem would cope.

I have had a tropical fish tank for 4 years now. I down sized to the edge from a 75 liter tank. I have 2 Corys and about 15 male Endlers. I have had the edge for about a month now and its suffering with really misty water. When I set the tank up i used the water from the old tank and left the filter running with no fish for about 3 days. I have cleaned the filter and tried a water change but still no luck. I feed the fish flakes and a small pinch of catfish pellets every other evening. Any help to get the water clear would be much appreciated! I have never suffered from this problem before.

Thanks

Hi there my Fluval Edge 25W heater is keeping water temp. on 24 - 25C and it works good. I got 5 Guppies and that is all i´v got beside two small real plants. Me my self, i am really happy with all the products exept one. Alge magnet clear from Fluval Edge. It does not swim... and it is really a pitty couse if it lands in the sand or anything else on the bottom of your thank and if you dont clean it, it will definitly scratch your tank! so be careful if you loose it! And that rope i mean pleas looking forwarde to some improvement on that product!
