* I use CO2. But the bubbles will stay under the top glass. What to do about that?
* Also my filter is noisy (lid already removed). But it's only running for 2 days now. Just waiting the comming days/weeks if it's getting better as some people here experienced? Or already contact my dealer?

Hi v, have you tried removing the plastic lid from the filter? Sometimes that can vibrate causing a buzzing noise - it is not really required and removing it will do no harm (I run mine without a lid). It is worth leaving it a couple of days too, often the motor will quieten down once it has been running for a while. If you still have problems please contact your local customer services through the contact button at the top of the page.

what else can i do? is it something to do with leveling? - that extra leveling piece does not make much sense to me
thanks

Hi Jo, the EDGE filter should start instantly provided it is properly primed - i.e. you have filled the media chamber fully with water before switching it on. Make sure the intake stem is pushed down and properly located over the inlet hole - you'll hear it click when it's in place. Make sure the intake stem is also pushed fully to the left (full flow position).

Finally but most importantly, have you cleaned the impeller since you bought it? To access the impeller twist the black motor section from the bottom of the filter - the impeller (small white propellor) can then be pulled out of its housing. Clean it and use a cotton bud to clean out the well it sits in.

If you have done all this and are still having problems please contact Hagen Customer Services.

Regards,

Paul

Hi,

Many people have asked this question "Will there be a bigger Fluval Edge coming soon". I need to know. The 6 Gal is way too small for me.

Thanks,
